Day 4 - Post #2

Ok, I just heard from Genny. The doctors haven't been in, just the physical therapist. The P.T. said that the reason they went as high w/the amputation that they did was because there was enough muscle damage that far up. So it's ok, just a little higher than expected, but still below the knee. They are setting up physical therapy for him over here in Hutch, but there will be some trips to Wichita for removing stitches, etc. We are still not 100% sure what day they will dismiss him to come home, maybe we'll know more about that when she actually talks to the doctors. She said dad's doin' good, they've finally found the right pain med for him so he's feeling quite a bit better. Thanks to all of you for the phone calls, blog comments, emails and of course prayers.
