Oh My Goodness! Can't believe I haven't posted in this long.
First and foremost, UPDATE ON DAD.......He had his appointments on Monday. He saw the surgeon and she was really happy with his progress. She said she had another patient who had the same type of thing done the same week as dad and the progress on that one wasn't going near as well as dad's. He's such a trooper! He also saw the guy for his prosthetic, they took a casting from the knee down and told dad he should have his prosthetic leg by December 1. Can you believe that? Dad told the guy, "Oh shoot, my trike won't be ready to ride by then." It's in the shop getting all tricked out. Although he was glad he'll get it by the time he goes hunting on the 3rd. hmmmmm......there is a big group of guys who are going and i know they'll take good care of him - Well - they'd better! I also hope he gets his deer the first day and can come home asap, don't really care to have him gone for more than a couple of days. Anyway.......things are looking pretty good for him!
